Dr. Camilla J. Dunn was born in Tiffin, OH and moved to Florida in 1983. She attended the University of Florida, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, with a minor in education. Her honors included a Florida Academic Honors Scholarship, Community College Honors Scholarship and membership in Phi Theta Kappa. She attended Nova Southeastern University where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2000. While there, she achieved Clinical Honors in both the internal Primary Care Clinic and the external clinic affiliated with the VA Medical Center in Gainesville. Her post-graduate training included a residency in hospital based optometry through the Ohio State University in 2001.
Dr. Dunn has been practicing in Brevard and Indian River counties since she completed her residency training in 2001. Her specialties include vision care for all stages of life, including children ages 7 and older, contact lens evaluations, surgical post-operative care, management of ocular diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, hypertensive and diabetic retinopathy, and has also been the leader of our certified Dry Eye Center of Excellence since 2014.
In her free time, Dr. Dunn enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren and giving back to the community by volunteering.
